I’m Michelle, a Happy-Go-Lucky, Hippy Dippy, fearless wedding photographer and film-maker who will go to the ends of the ends of the Earth to make we get your big day nailed!
I live in Wigan, slap bang in-between Manchester and Liverpool, being close to family with my wonderful husband, our little girl and our Dalmation pupster. I love where we live. We are so close to The Lakes, The North West Coast and North Wales. I love the sea and could be with the sea all day, every day.
I love to watch European films, Amelie is my absolute go to. I’m well into growth mindset, well being and an holistic approach to life. Day to day I love an audio book and you’ll find me taking photos and videos of sunsets, butterflies, birds and anything else that I think is beautiful. You can find under any full moon journalling sounded by crystals.
When my brain hurts I switch off completely with my guilty pleasure of reality TV or Emily in Paris. I’m a massive Potterhead and I used to be a Contemporary Dance Artist and cry when I go to watch live theatre - the weirder the better for me. You can find me on the dance floor and bursting out in random song and dance at any given moment.
Family is key to me
Family has always been so important to me, when I lived in London I missed out on so many occasions but mainly I missed being able to pop in and see my Mum. So now we live not in the most beautiful location but my parents live around the corner, by brother and his family around the other and the majority of our family within a 20 minute drive. We’re very lucky.
Becoming a mum in 2017 made me re-evaluate life and what’s important. That’s why I limit the number of weddings I take on each year and also why I tend to lean towards micro-weddings and elopements. I feel big emotions and the older I get the more I value these big emotions, I value connection and relationships. As a Wedding photographer and film-maker I feel the feels on your day, I won’t be a blubbering wreck - I’ve a job to do - but I feel the feels and capture the moments so you have those emotions forever. So for me it’s never enough to just capture what a moment looks like. I want to capture the moment the way I see it, showing the depths of meaning beneath the surface.
